Academic Presentations

Athens Video Art Festival in an attempt to establish a contact between the public and the academic aspect of video art and digital arts, hosts in its program important Greek and international institutions that link to video art, its history and all the extents of digital arts. Academic institutions from Greece and abroad, as well as internationally recognized organizations, are presented annually informing the public about the advancements – technological or not – from all the spectrum of digital arts. Our aim is to present the work done within these institutions and also give an additional chance to the students to promote their works. These institutions every year lap up to the call of Athens Video Art Festival and lay the basis for a creative dialogue, which we desire to establish and broaden within the upcoming festivals.
